Who We Are

The Kathryn Claire Wood Foundation is a Washington State–based nonprofit and 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. Formed in 2019, this family foundation was established in loving memory of Kate Wood, who inspired those around her through her compassion, courage, and drive to serve others.

We exist to carry forward Kate’s vision by supporting causes that align with her heart: education and health care. These were the fields that she dreamed of working in, and the areas we believe can create long-lasting change for people and communities.

Every donation we receive goes directly toward uplifting the organizations and individuals doing this critical work.

All contributions to the Kathryn Claire Wood Foundation are 100% tax-deductible.
